Our beef shares are sold by the hanging weight at $5.50 per pound. Hanging weight is the weight of the animal after harvest but before cutting and trimming. This gives you the best value and allows you to fully customize your beef to your family’s preferences. On average, our beef hangs at about 900-950 pounds per animal, so:

Half share ≈ 450 lb hanging weight

Quarter share ≈ 225 lb hanging weight
Your take-home weight will be about 60–65% of the hanging weight, depending on how you have your beef cut and packaged.

Deposits
To reserve your share, we require a $200 deposit for a quarter beef and a $400 deposit for a half beef. Deposits are nonrefundable once butcher dates are secured. The remaining balance, based on the actual hanging weight, is due at pickup.
Processing & Pickup
Our current processing schedule is monthly. Beef shares are scheduled at the next available opening.
Butcher fees are paid directly to Del Fox Meats in Bow, WA, at the time of cutting and wrapping. This allows you to customize your order exactly how you like it—whether you prefer thicker steaks, more roasts, or additional ground beef.
Pickup is available at our ranch store in Custer, WA, or directly at Del Fox Meats in Bow, WA once your order is complete.
